VIENNA, VA, September, 24th 2012 – Trowbridge & Trowbridge, LLC (T&T) expanded the geographic reach of its Navy support as a member of the winning team for telecommunications operations and maintenance (O&M) contracts in Greece and Djibouti. Rome Research Corporation (RRC), a subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation, is the prime for both contracts.

The first contract provides telecommunications O&M services for the next 4 years at the Global Information Grid (GIG) facility in Souda Bay on the island of Crete, Greece. The second, 5-year contract is with the Navy Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station, Atlantic (NCTAMS LANT), at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, in support of the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) and other customers. The combined value of both contracts is expected to exceed $16 million.

“These wins provide us with critical opportunities to increase our support of the U.S. Navy over a wider geographic area,” said Karen Trowbridge, T&T President and CEO. “We look forward to working with PAR Technology and expanding the global reach of our services through these contracts.”

GIG is the global network of information capabilities, processes, and personnel for collecting, processing, storing, disseminating and managing information on demand for use by military commanders, policy makers and support personnel. NCTAMS LANT provides voice, messaging, data, and video to ships, submarines, aircraft, and ground forces operating worldwide in support of Naval and joint missions.
