Vienna, VA, April 22, 2014 ─ Trowbridge & Trowbridge, LLC (T&T) announced today that they have been appraised at Level 2 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). Implementation of these practices empowers T&T to continuously improve the development of custom computer applications for their clients.
“At this level, we’ve ensured that tasks performed on this project are planned and executed in accordance with our documented processes,” explained President and CEO Karen Trowbridge. “We can guarantee that our staff are skilled and they have the resources necessary to successfully support our customer. It’s a substantial accomplishment for a company of our size.”
Completion of the appraisal process involved a significant investment in staff and resources for T&T. “We’re extremely proud of the work our staff have completed to reach this milestone in our evolution,” said Chief Operating Officer Chris Brandell. “Hand in hand with our ISO certification, this brings our customers a new level of reliance in our services and provides potential clients with assured confidence in our solutions”.
CMMI is the result of more than 20 years of ongoing collaborative effort at Carnegie Mellon University by members of industry, government, and the Software Engineering Institute to create an approach that provides organizations with process guidelines that ultimately improve their performance.
