Trowbridge Wins Second Corporate Culture Award

McLean, VA, Dec. 13, 2016 – Trowbridge & Trowbridge, LLC announces the company was again selected as a Washington SmartCEO Corporate Culture Award winner. The 2016 recipients have successfully championed a performance-driven, positive and productive culture for their employees. This is the second year in a row that Trowbridge has received the award.

President and CEO Karen Trowbridge said, “We’ve deliberately collaborated with our employees at all levels of the company to develop cultural practices that strive to nurture our greatest asset – our employees. We understand and appreciate the linkage between happy and productive employees and our customer’s success. It is an honor to be included on SmartCEO’s list this year.”

Members of the Trowbridge staff and leadership team are also part of the company’s Employment Engagement Committee, a group dedicated to fostering and enhancing employee satisfaction and involvement. Trowbridge continued on saying, “This year was our 10-year anniversary, and we designed a special employee t-shirt as a fun way to commemorate the milestone.”

Trowbridge COO, Chris Brandell, added “We recognize that a performance-enhancing culture must be an intentional component for successful evolution, and it certainly helps maintain a competitive advantage for our customers. A positive culture encourages employees to stay with Trowbridge and correlates to retention of institutional knowledge for our clients.”

SmartCEO’s mission is to educate and inspire the business community through a variety of C-Suite resources in Washington and a few other key metropolitan areas. The 2016 winners of the Corporate Culture Award were chosen by an independent committee of local business leaders and were recognized at a celebration in December at the Fillmore Silver Spring.
