McLean, VA – Oct. 21, 2015 – Trowbridge & Trowbridge LLC (T&T) has received a contract award for the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) Customer Service Branch (RCSB) within the RDT&E Infrastructure Division.  The $9.8 million dollar, five year, contract provides for engineering and installation fiber optic networking support services to RCSB.

T&T staff will execute network designs, fiber builds, infrastructure mapping and network solutions. T&T President and CEO, Karen Trowbridge said, “We’re excited for this opportunity to supplement the RCSB’s ability to provide NAWCWD, NAVAIR and the RDT&E user community with value added, cost effective, Subject Matter Experts, and E&I support services. It’s an expansion of the scope of work we do for other customers, for another new client.” This contract was awarded under T&T’s Alliant Small Business vehicle

The RDT&E Infrastructure Division provides the primary engineering interface to major network service providers including the Defense Information Service Agency (DISA) and Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN). COO, Chris Brandell added, “It’s also an exciting opportunity for T&T to expand our geographic scope of support to the Navy with location and facilities primarily at China Lake, CA and Point Mugu, CA. This is contract further establishes T&T as a strong leader in Engineering, Furnish, Install and Test (EFI&T) services.“

To provide more focused attention to this client given the broader geographic reach, T&T has opened a new corporate office outside the China Lake Naval Station in Ridgecrest, CA. There are also fifteen DREN government and contractor facilities at remote locations.
