Trowbridge & Trowbridge LLC (T&T) has been awarded a $2.5 million contract for the Air Force Global Strike Command’s eTools support services to manage 3000 ruggedized tablets. This is strategically important work for our Armed Forces as the tablets are connected to the Air Force Network and used by aircraft mechanics to process real-time maintenance data collection and parts requisitions.
T&T President and CEO Karen Trowbridge said, “The ruggedized tablet devices are used at several airbases in conjunction with networked storage, wireless access, and antennas. Our new team works from Minot, Barksdale, and Whiteman Air Force bases. This is a significant expansion of our service and support to the Air Force, in terms of capabilities and scope.” The 5 year contract also has the potential for expansion to two additional locations.
The contract was awarded as a task order under the NIH CIO-SP3 contract vehicle. Chris Brandell, T&T’s COO, further explained, “This strategic win increases T&T’s footprint within the Air Force, and expands our existing presence at Whiteman AFB. It also adds expanding experience for T&T in Mobile Device Management.” T&T is partnered with subcontractor TEKsystems, Inc. on this contract.
