T&T OPENS NEW FIELD OFFICE NEAR ST. LOUIS

VIENNA, VA, March 26, 2012 – Karen Trowbridge, President and CEO of Trowbridge & Trowbridge, LLC (T&T), announced today that the company has just opened a new corporate field office in Fairview Heights, IL. “With our growing footprint in the Heartland region, this facility will be a great central location for overseeing our nearby project sites at Whiteman Air Force Base and Fort Leonard Wood,” she said.

The new site will serve as the primary office for T&T’s Director of Unified Communications, Rick Blake, and will facilitate the pursuit of other local business opportunities. The office is located just east of the Mississippi River, about 15 miles from downtown St. Louis.

“We are always excited to establish a local presence and community partnership in the areas we support across the country,” Trowbridge added, “and with continued growth we look forward to possible expansions elsewhere this year.”

FAIRFAX COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SELECTS T&T AS FINALIST FOR CORPORATE CITIZENSHIP AWARD

VIENNA, VA, March 26, 2012 – Trowbridge & Trowbridge, LLC (T&T) has been named as a finalist for the Fairfax County (Virginia) Chamber of Commerce’s 2012 Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Awards. The awards are presented to the Northern Virginia region’s top companies in recognition of their above-and-beyond business leadership and corporate social responsibility.

T&T WINS NEW ARMY TELECOMMUNICATIONS TASK

VIENNA, VA, March 22, 2012 – Trowbridge & Trowbridge, LLC (T&T) recently won a $6 million task order to provide telephone and network communications support at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Awarded under the Information Management Communication Services II (IMCS II) contract vehicle, this task gives T&T the opportunity to partner with Fort Leonard Wood through 2017.

“This is a very important competitive win for us, expanding our successful support for the Army under the IMCS II program,” said Karen Trowbridge, T&T President and CEO. “We are delighted with the opportunity to support new customers at Fort Leonard Wood.”

The post is the home of the U.S. Army Engineer, Military Police, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear School; the Third Basic Combat Training Brigade; and Joint Training Detachments from the U.S. Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force. Its primary mission, in conjunction with the U.S. Army Maneuver Support Center, is to develop leaders and warriors to ensure success in current and future operational environments.

T&T TO SUPPORT VA DATA CENTER AS PART OF SMS TEAM

VIENNA, VA, March 22, 2012 – Trowbridge & Trowbridge, LLC (T&T) will provide data center support services for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in Austin, TX, as a key member of the winning team headed by Systems Made Simple, Inc. (SMS) [See SMS press release here]. The Data Center Acquisitions – Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology (DCAT4) task order, awarded under the VA T4 contract vehicle, is designed to provide support to VA for the next five years.

As part of the contract, the team will consolidate and manage VA’s five Corporate Data Center Operations (CDCO), which include more than 2,000 servers and 200 information technology (IT) applications. Goals of the program include positioning CDCO as a leader in cloud computing for the VA and other government agencies, as well as implementing green initiatives in the data centers to help VA minimize its carbon footprint.
