Information technology is at the forefront of a revolution in health care, but the economic and political challenges that government agencies involved with the health care sector face are numerous and complex. Agencies with health care and medical mission requirements must cope with multifaceted, interrelated, and potentially costly factors such as patient privacy, connectivity across a diverse provider base, and implementation of technical “enterprise-like” architectures. Industry partners will be called upon to deliver performance-based services to mitigate risk and shorten the life-cycle for system re-engineering and/or modernization.
T&T’s demonstrated capabilities in health-related missions derive from our experience supporting the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the DoD medical community, including Brooke Army Medical Center and the Ft. Carson Evans Army Community Hospital. We are familiar with the systems and interfaces used to communicate health-related data throughout the government, as well as the integration and training needed to ensure their effectiveness.
