Community Outreach

T&T believes in the importance of being a good corporate citizen and a core value of the company is to contribute to the communities in which we live and work. Strong and vibrant communities are vital to operate a successful and growing business that attracts, retains, and develops talented employees. We develop and administer T&T outreach and giving programs, partner with community organizations, and share company resources in the form of monetary contributions and volunteer time to enhance our communities. We encourage employees to participate in charitable events and activities that promote positive and meaningful experiences.

Industry Involvement

T&T has a strong history of “giving back” to the communities and industries of which we are a part. We have sponsored and participated in a number of AFCEA events at the local and national level, including Small Business and women in business outreach efforts. For more information on our industry and community involvement please check out the News & Events section of our website for details on our speaking engagements and panel participation, along with our ACT-IAC and GovCon involvement.

Corporate Citizenship Council

T&T has established a Corporate Citizenship Council comprised of employee volunteers who consider charitable organizations and determine how best to allocate T&T’s resources, employees’ volunteer hours, and monetary donations. We match employee contributions dollar for dollar to organizations selected by our Corporate Citizenship Council that align with our philanthropic philosophy.

Two such organizations include the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) and For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST). WWP is a nonprofit organization raises awareness and enlists public aid for the assistance of severely injured service men and women. FIRST is an organization founded to inspire students in engineering and technology fields, promoting a philosophy of teamwork and collaboration. T&T has also supported a variety of regional food banks and community kitchens and worked with the Red Cross, in times of urgency, to direct assistance where it’s necessary.

Other organizations T&T has supported include:

  • Capital Area Food Bank
  • DC Central Kitchen
  • For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST)
  • Red Cross
  • Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma
  • So Others May Eat (SOME)
  • Wounded Warrior Project

Mentor/Protégé Relationships

Within the federal contracting business community, T&T has benefited from participating in Mentor-Protégé relationships over the years, allowing for the expansion of our technical capabilities and broadening of our customer base. We recognize the importance of giving back to other small businesses and forging valuable partnerships.
